“You crossed the line there,” Holder said on CNN’S “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” when asked what he would say if he had an audience with Trump.
Asked why he felt the need to comment on the President’s remarks, Holder said,
“To imply that President Obama was not appropriately sensitive, was not appropriately involved, was something I was simply not going to allow to go unaddressed.”
He continued, “that made me mad in a way few other things have”
Holder, a 44 alum, has been explicitly vocal in his criticism of Trump. On Monday night, in a tweet directed at Trump, he called the President out for his recent remarks suggesting that Barack Obama never called the families of fallen soldiers.
